About the event

We’re hosting a live-streamed session from Melbourne in partnership with National Aged Care Consultancy, so you can attend in person at Ashgrove Baptist Hall and gain a clear understanding of residential aged care.


In this session you will have the opportunity to learn more about:

  • Overview of Brain Physiology

  • Common types of Dementia

  • Diagnosis of Dementia

  • Role of Geriatrician

  • Positive Support Process

  • Triggers and Helpful Interventions

  • Safety and Risk

  • Support for Carers (General and QLD specific information)

Format: Two 45 minute sessions with a morning tea break.
